November 30 Day Happiness Challenge

Wow its November already!? Where did this year go…anyways, I figured I would start this blog off with a 30 Day Happiness Challenge since we are now entering a new month. I found this idea from Thought Catalog, and thought it would be a great way to really practice and bring focus on YOUR overall happiness each day. Allow for this month to be the beginning of putting aside time for you, even after working a long day or attending classes that may leave you with your head spinning.


*** Feel free to change whatever the day lists if it is something you do not like or cannot do!



1.) Wake up 30min. earlier than normal

2.) Read a book

3.) Take a walk outside

4.) Take a bubble bath

5.) Disconnect from social media

6.) Enjoy a warm cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.

7.) Catch up with someone you haven’t talked to in awhile

8.) Cook something that will make your body happy

9.) Drink more water

10.) Make an effort to smile at as many people as possible

11.) Listen to your favorite music

12.) Dance around to your favorite song

13.) Listen to a podcast

14.) Take a day trip

15.) Color or paint

16.) Treat yourself

17.) Get a massage OR go to the gym

18.) Take a nap

19.) Compliment someone

20.) Enjoy nature

21.) Practice yoga

22.) Bake cookies

23.) Visit someplace new

24.) Spend quality time with family

25.) Go to a new café/restaurant

26.) Watch a movie

27.) Relax for 30min.

28.) Hangout with good friends

29.) Meditate for 10min.

30.) Go to bed 30min. earlier than normal


I challenge you to try this out for the month!! Not only does it give you something to do each day, but it’s teaching you to take time out of your day to do each activity for YOU and what will make YOU feel good!
